Original Artwork by Mike Best — From the Robot Series
Melancholic, expressive, and full of narrative humor. It's Been Raining Since You Left tells the story of heartbreak through a mechanical lens, a slumping robot stands completely drenched under its own personal dark raincloud dripping black oil-like rain, while a happy robot couple stands together in the background.
Hand-painted using premium acrylic paints on heavy-duty stretched gallery canvas. Measuring 16" x 20" with a 3/4" profile, it features clean, painted edges that arrive ready to hang right out of the box, no framing necessary. Hand-signed and dated by Mike Best.
Digital images do not do this artwork justice; the textured lime green backdrop, deep shadow work, and dramatic dripping rain effects are much more striking in person.
